Weather is sunny and Easter has arrived.
No work until Tuesday next week.
I really nice surprise was sitting on my desk when I got to work this morning, a huge chocolate Easter Egg, CCP gave all the employees a massive 720 g. Easter egg from Noi Sirius, how cool is that :). I am so going to enjoy that while playing Final Fantasy.

Ice Cream
The weather today has been absolutely beautiful, sunny & clear blue sky.
CCP bought ice cream for everyone and it was enjoyed on the balcony overlooking Mount Esja.
According to the weather forecast, this spring like weather continues the entire weekend, which is great since my husband arrives tomorrow and we will go and see the volcano Sunday.

Multiboxing WOW
Ah, I just found these screen shots from my multiboxing WOW days. Oh the memories :)
1 pally, 4 shammys, great fun.
Towards Northrend:
UI setup:
Some quests become even more rewarding when multiboxing, like costume quests:
Beautiful environments:
Dungeons:
DING 80!
Heroic Moorabi downed:
LOL, and the time I got hacked!
Account ripped, but Blizzard reimbursed everything, thank god.
I know the picture below is not taken within the same level frame, but the difference between how my paladin should look, and how it looked after the keylogger kicked in is staggering.
All in all, Outlands was pretty easy, not much to write about, so I'll just leave some beauty shots here:

VolcanoCAM
Remember the volcano that erupted last Saturday night?
Well here are some web cams tracking the event:

and the big one from Vodafone
And here is a video closeup :)
Amazing.
I think this calls for a super Jeep tour on Sunday.

Visit from Denmark
Just said goodbye to my first visitors from Denmark, it has been a great weekend indeed. We sampled some excellent food and visited The Blue Lagoon.
Thursday:
Hanging out in Grettisgata and Surf & Turf.
Friday:
Was dedicated to Reykjavik, I had to work and meanwhile my friends went shopping. Later we dined at Icelandic Fish and Chips (great place for organic food) and then went out for drinks at the English pub and Olstofa.
Saturday:
We spent the afternoon at The Blue Lagoon, which is absolutely marvelous.
At dinner time we splashed out and went all out at the Lobster House.
Pictures will follow as soon as I get them. My camera ran out of juice Friday and since it isn't waterproof I didn't bring it to the Blue Lagoon.

Spring?
It was just not possible to stay inside with the sun shining suddenly on this Saturday afternoon, so I went for a 1 hour stroll around Reykjavik.
Good thing I did so, because now it is overcast once more.
However I got the chance to take some pictures, that really show just why I love this city so much.
Reykjavik, as well as Iceland, is truly a place of great variety and contrast and this is exactly why it is so fantastic here.
Nature and architecture side by side:
Construction cranes, mountains, cityscape, lake, all in 1 shot :) :
..and ducks :
Spring was truly knocking on the door today, as you can see in the picture below.
I think I need a new jacket, the one I have now is aimed towards - 10 :).
Another example of the contrast here is the change in weather, the picture below was taken roughly 14 days ago...

Tron Legacy
--=Movie Trailer=--
AMAZING! I can't wait to see this one.
I can still remember, when I watched the orignal for the first time, back in the 80's, on the VCR.
Ah, the days :)
Lazy weekend
Given the fact, that my last 2 Saturdays have been spent on the couch curing sizable hangovers, I decided to take a lazy, low key weekend. I am sure next week will more than make up for this, due to Skt. Patrick's day and the fact that I have visitors from Denmark arriving Thursday.
So I'm staying in, cleaning the flat, playing Dragon Age and just chilling.
The sun is coming out now, so if it continues tomorrow as well, I'll make sure to take advantage of that.

Mega busy @ work
But it is great!
We just had one of the best weeks ever on the team (1st to 5th of March).
Our Atlanta crew mates came over to visit for an entire week, which was great.
We also got 1 new artist and 2 new contractors on the team.
Besides GDC preparations and EVE related work we also managed to get 2 nights out in Reykjavik.
Tuesday we went to Orange , which has the best view in town by a mile, situated on the top floor close to the waterfront. From there we went to Ölstofa, I managed to go to bed at 04:00 in the morning somehow.
Friday was a tad more casual, Vegamöt for dinner and Kaffibarinn for drinks, also an early night for me ending at 02:00.
This week my boss is going to GDC then after that to visit our outsourcing partner, so I'll be holding the fort for 14 days, which means more tasks to go through per day, but very enjoyable none the less.
